Leeds United have to wait until Monday to take on Middlesbrough, but will be hoping Carlos Corberan’s West Brom can do them a favour with a result against Leicester on Saturday.

Three games remain for Leeds and Daniel Farke in the Championship season, with the Whites currently two points off top and in need of a turnaround in form.

Ipswich Town aren’t in action this weekend due to Coventry City’s FA Cup commitments, giving Leeds, Leicester and Southampton a chance to steal a march.

Leeds will know on Monday what they have to do in promotion race

Broadcasters have been at it again with Leeds fixtures for this weekend, moving Leeds’ trip to Middlesbrough to the following Monday, meaning they play last on this gameweek out of those in action.

Elsewhere, Leicester host West Brom at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon hoping to get back to winning ways after two losses on the bounce to bottom-half opposition.

Southampton’s three successive wins has them back in the mix for promotion, and they can go level on points with Leeds on Saturday afternoon with a win against Cardiff City in South Wales.

Leeds have a unique situation of playing last in the top four that are in action, but do have two games to play before Ipswich are next to kick off, away at Middlesbrough on Monday and QPR on the Friday.

Middlesbrough v Leeds predictions

Leeds will be hoping for huge Carlos Corberan favour – View

One of the few sides this season that Leeds haven’t been able to record a victory over was Carlos Corberan’s West Brom – setting up incredibly hard to break through in both games and utilising limited opportunities to their advantage.

Leeds aren’t the only side that been tactically bested by Marcelo Bielsa’s former right-hand man, with the Baggies taking four points off Ipswich as well.

With Leicester low on confidence right now, Corberan could heap even more pressure on with a result to help out his ex-club Leeds.

West Brom themselves are in need of getting themselves back into gear to secure a playoff spot, picking up just one win in five of late and only a point above sixth-placed Norwich City.

Should they beat the Foxes, it gives Leeds a chance to go two points clear in the top two and move top of the league while the Tractor Boys sit by.
