Schedule Announced For Focus Wales 2024

Wrexham will be bustling again this spring when Focus Wales returns for its 13th edition.

The North Wales borough will once again host 250 artists across 20 stages, including The Royston Club, Snapped Ankles, Cerys Hafana, The Mysterines, Flamingods, Adwaith, Willy Mason, Spiritualized, CVC and Chroma, among many others.

Continuing the event’s commitment to diversity, in addition to representing Welsh talent, the line-up is comprised of acts from around the world, including Australia, The Balearics, Basque Country, Canada, Catalonia, Croatia, Denmark, England, Estonia, France, Ghana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Mexico, Mozambique, New Zealand, Nigeria, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the US.

As well as the live music line-up, Focus Wales will once again host a music conference, which includes industry panels featuring discussions with the festival’s co-founder Andy Jones, Amy Albinson (Line Of Best Fit), Anne Haffmans (Domino Recording Company, Germay), Kwame Safo (British Council), Angharad Jenkins (artist) and Paul Jones (Rough Trade Records), to name a few.

The Focus Wales Film Festival will return on May 10 and 11 inside Theatr Ial at Coleg Cambria to showcase the best new Welsh and International films. May 11 will also see the festival honour the late BBC broadcaster Janice Long with a specially curated line-up at Ty Pawb.
