Software firm moves to bigger offices at Exeter Science Park

A financial software company has expanded into new larger offices at Exeter Science Park. Joiin, which was founded in 2019, said it had seen “rapid growth” through increasing demand for its products and services.

The firm has created a financial reporting platform that can be used by finance teams and advisors to consolidate group financial data from multiple sources. The business signed up its first customers in 2020 and now has more than 40,000 companies using its software across 135 countries.

The business has moved from the Science Park Centre to larger offices in the business park’s recently opened facility, the George Parker Bidder Building.

Paul Shipway, chief commercial officer at Joiin, said: “Things have gone from strength-to-strength in the last few years. We saw a huge uptake during the pandemic when people were working from home but still needed to access data, and have successfully managed to carry that momentum forward to today.

“It is critically important to us to have a base where we all come together. The Science Park team have supported us fantastically and enabled us to grow from our original space into the new offices.”

Jason Buck, senior business development manager at Exeter Science Park, added: “We’re pleased to have been able to meet the needs of Joiin as the company grows. Part of our strategic aims are to create ‘pathways’ for our businesses as their needs change over time and we look forward to seeing the company develop further.”
