Westgate Oxford To Host ‘we Are.’ Pre-loved Fashion Pop-Up This May

Westgate Oxford is set to welcome the return of the popular pre-loved fashion pop-up, ‘we are.’, this May. The fast-growing sustainable fashion venture will be set up on Leiden Square from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th May, offering a unique shopping experience for eco-conscious fashion enthusiasts.

The pop-up store will feature high-quality secondhand clothing, including womenswear and menswear from beloved brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Nike. In an effort to keep the selection fresh and exciting, the clothing rails will be refreshed regularly throughout each day, giving all visitors a fair chance to discover unique finds, regardless of their arrival time.

In a novel approach to pricing, items at the pop-up will be sold by weight, with prices starting from £5 for T-shirts and from £25 per kilo for heavier garments. This system allows guests to purchase as much or as little as they desire, with the total cost based on the weight of their selections.

Additionally, this year ‘we are.’ has introduced a new service allowing guests to bring their own unwanted clothes to sell or trade, enhancing the sustainability aspect of the event.

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for our guests, and ‘we are.’ provides the perfect opportunity to engage with the growing trend of second-hand shopping, offering a mix of premium and vintage brands at accessible prices.”

Matthew Griffiths, founder of ‘we are.’, commented on the initiative: “We are on a journey to build Europe’s biggest second-hand sustainable fashion business. ‘we are.’ has saved tonnes of clothes from landfill. #Join the fashion revolution!”
